For this competition artists, worldwide, are encouraged to submit their best artistic interpretation of the "Colorful Abstractions" theme by submitting their best nonobjective or nonrepresentational art. Abstraction is defined as "freedom from representational qualities in art." Abstract art is art that "does not attempt to represent external reality, but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors, and textures." Black and white are colors that qualify for the Colorful Abstractions theme. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best art and photography.

For this competition artists, worldwide, are encouraged to submit their best artistic interpretation of the four Seasons. The Seasons theme encompasses the four distinct times of the year – Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter - along with any scenes, events, or activities associated with those four seasons.  A particular season can be interpreted in numerous ways and for this competition we want to see your unique view. All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representational or abstract art and photography.

Fusion Art is celebrating Women Artists! For this competition the gallery invites both 2D and 3D submissions from women artists, only, regardless of their location or their experience or education in the art field. This is an international open competition and so any subject matter and any medium is acceptable. The work can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all women artists, over the age of 18, are encouraged to submit their best 2D and 3D representational and non-representational art and photography.
