Fusion Art Lowers Overall Cost to Enter the Gallery's Art Competitions
Every month, we are humbled when new artists find us and enter our competitions. However, we would like to take this time to thank all of YOU, the artists who have entered one or many of our previous and current competitions. YOU are why we do this. Providing an outlet and helping you to promote your incredible talent, worldwide, is what drives Fusion Art to continually expand and improve our marketing efforts for you and your work.
There is so much talent out there and we are grateful and honored that you have chosen Fusion Art’s competitions and exhibitions. We know there are many options on the internet and, although similar, each one offers something a little different. There are more talented artists than there are galleries to represent and promote them. Fusion Art’s mission has always been, and always will be, to assist artists gain exposure to collectors, buyers, gallerists and other influential members of the art world. We continuously seek new and meaningful outlets to expose you and your work and we appreciate your continued trust in us.
As we embark on our third year, the gallery has decided to lower the overall cost to enter its competitions. Beginning with the January 2018 exhibition (the 3rd Annual Animal Kingdom competition) Fusion Art will be revising our pricing structure in an effort to make our competitions more affordable for artists.
Over the last year, we have observed a trend in our competition entries. The average entry into our monthly themed competitions includes 3 images. Most artists enter at least 3 images (for $35), more than a third enter 5 images (for $55) and very few select the first price tier of $25 (for up to 2 images). We do periodically have artists enter only 1 image for the $25.
Therefore, the gallery has decided to revise and reduce our pricing tiers, allowing artists to enter more images for less money and provide a price reduction for those rare times artists have only one image that fits a particular theme.
Currently for the monthly competitions, the pricing structure is as follows:
- $25 for the first 2 images ($12.50 per image or $25 per image if only entering one image)
- $35 for 3 images, $45 for 4 images and $55 for 5 images (or an average of $11 per image).
Beginning with the 3rd Annual Animal Kingdom competition the pricing structure will be:
- $20 for 1 image ($20 per image but $5 less than entering one image under the current pricing)
- $30 for up to 3 images ($10 per image)
- $45 for up to 5 images (average of $9 per image)
This equals a $5 savings when entering 1 or 3 images and a $10 savings when entering 5 images. We are instituting this change in our competition pricing structure so artists will now be able to enter more images for an overall lower price.
For the quarterly and Artist Spotlight competitions, the gallery has already reduced the entry fees from $45 to $35 (for up to 5 images or an average of $7 per image). These competitions have a flat overall lower entry fee, for the maximum number of images, because the gallery does not award cash prizes in those competitions.
In addition – starting with the Women Artists competition (which closes on December 20th) the gallery will now award a Best in Show for each quarterly competition. The quarterly Best in Show winners, like our monthly Best in Show and Artist Spotlight winners, will also now receive an invitation to the annual group show.
By lowering the overall price to enter the competitions as well as expanding the awards with the invitation of quarterly Best in Show winners to the annual show, Fusion Art continues to fulfill its mission to find and promote great artists and their work worldwide. The gallery hopes this will encourage artists to take advantage of these new, more affordable entry fees and potential awards. Thank you again, as always, for your continued support and trust.

Artist Spotlight Winners Are Now Invited to the Annual Group Show
The gallery is very pleased to announce that the Artist Spotlight winning artists will now receive an invitation to the annual group show as part of their award package.
Since Fusion Art was launched in 2015 the Best in Show winners from each monthly themed online art exhibition have been invited to an annual "brick & mortar" exhibition, each November, in Palm Springs, California. Effective immediately and starting with the November 2018 show, all Artist Spotlight winning artists will also receive an invitation to participate in the group show.
Artists will be able to select one artwork from their solo exhibition to participate in the group show. All previous Artist Spotlight winners will also receive this invitation. The gallery has decided to expand the Artist Spotlight awards to provide more exhibition and promotion opportunities for its artists. Expanded Marketing through PRBuzz and Artist Pressroom
Since our formation in 2015, it has been Fusion Art’s mission to help artists market and promote their art online to the global marketplace. Through our monthly and quarterly online competitions and exhibitions, in addition to our annual “brick & mortar” exhibition, the gallery provides an outlet for artists in all stages of their career to market their artwork and build their resumes. The gallery takes this responsibility very seriously and strives to be as successful in the implementation of our mission as we can.
In an effort to improve in this endeavor, we are expanding, yet again, our marketing efforts and providing more competitions, exhibitions and promotion opportunities for artists. The gallery has always promoted the exhibitions and monthly and quarterly winning artists through hundreds of online press releases, direct email campaigns, online event calendars, art news websites and blogs, including ARTFIXdaily, Art Guide, and Niume, and through the gallery’s extensive social media outlets – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and YouTube. In recent months, the gallery has expanded these marketing efforts to include additional outlets such as Artweek, and the document sharing sites, Calameo, Issuu and SlideShare. Artweek.com, alone, has 30,000 newsletter subscribers and almost 300,000 website visitors per month and ARTFIXdaily is the industry leader in curated news from the Art World.
The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers and we are continually looking for new outlets and ways to promote the artists and exhibitions. At the end of June the gallery transitioned to an exclusively online and event based model. Therefore, the gallery no longer maintains a permanent “brick and mortar” location in Palm Springs. However, Fusion Art will host “pop up” exhibitions, including the annual Best in Show Exhibitions each November. This November, the Best in Show Exhibition will, again, be hosted in Palm Springs’ Backstreet Art District.
Beginning August 1, 2017 Fusion Art has contracted with PRBuzz.com to distribute all of the gallery’s press releases. Thousands of organizations including Fortune 500 companies, charitable foundations, universities, art galleries andorganizations, entertainment and media companies, television and film studios, and museums all utilize PRBuzz.com to distribute their important news and announcements. Press releases through PRBuzz.com automatically reach thousands of top search engines, news sites, blogs, social networks, newspaper sites, TV news sites, and radio news sites. This expanded reach for Fusion Art's press releases will get the word about the gallery's exhibitions and artists to an even wider audience.
Finally, beginning in October 2017, Fusion Art will be increasing, yet again, its marketing efforts by offering an Artist Pressroom section on the website. All artists who have won an award in any Fusion Art online or brick and mortar exhibition, will be eligible to have their art news promoted on the website and through the gallery’s extensive social media outlets.
